Sara and Hudson's wedding was my first of 2023 and it couldn't have been a better start to the year. The girls got ready at The Line Hotel downtown before heading to the Allan House and the entire day was such a vibe. I knew Sara and Hudson were laidback, but they decided to skip a must-have list and wanted a truly documentary style day. It was perfect.

'Documentary style' days are my favorite because it's not just a style - it's really living your day. Your memories are captured as they unfold and saves your real moments with your favorite people. I don't ever recreate moments on wedding days if they happened elsewhere, a recreated moment isn't a memory you'd want to pass down. If you want an authentic, unique day - this is it.

The Allan House is a modern Victorian mansion in downtown Austin. My favorite thing about it is seeing a little piece of architecture saved right beside all the newer buildings that line the street. Each room is stunning, decorated for the time period and has gorgeous natural light. This whole day flowed so well with the vintage Valentine's aesthetic and roses - all of the vendors came together perfectly and did freaking amazing.
